01 Why a note like this matters
A concert in a memory-care lounge is measured differently.
There is no box office and no review. What tells us it worked is the room itself, an activity director who writes back, and an invitation to return.
The return
Brightview Senior Living in Annandale has now hosted the quartet four times — November 2023, February and June 2024, and again in July 2025.
The word travels
The ensemble played for the FCPS Social Workers Annual Conference and kept returning to Brightview. Word travelled between activity directors across the county.
